I am posting these pictures in honor of a friend of mine who is having to deal with doggy old age. It sucks. Totally sucks. It’s always too soon and always unfair. This is not her dog but I posted these from a recent assignment because thinking about her situation and how painful it must [...]
I don’t know what it is about being around horses, maybe its the fact that they themselves are the icon of the “west,” but they always seem to make interesting photos. There seems to be something intrinsic about them, like they come with a historical cache. Like photographing them automatically includes something unexplainable, hidden within [...]
This kid reminded me of Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes.
Thanks for looking.

A week ago I got to shoot a climbing festival in literally my backyard. Well, not quite my backyard, but just about. It was really fun and I wished I had more time to shoot while I was there (I also did a video which can be found here).
Thanks for looking,

As always thanks for looking,
Cheers,

Yesterday I got a horrible, horrible assignment. Not because it was boring, cliche or a P.R. ruse from some local business. Not because there were no photos to be had or something else that plagues daily work. It was horrible for the simple fact that it reminded me of how cruel and totally fucked people [...]
A wild, wild sport. First race that I shot, a chariot basically fell apart beneath the driver. I don’t know if he bailed out, or if he couldn’t hang on but he ate it hard at 45 mph. Ouch. He walked away relatively unscathed, save for a pretty good laceration on the bridge of his [...]
