I went to Olvera Street and Union Station. I don’t know why, but I have been seeing a lot of emptiness lately. Not really in any traditional sense, but a sort-of static tension between subject and environment that creates a sense of emptiness or quietude. (I dunno if this makes any sense whatsoever, but I noticed it after shooting at the salt flats).

The light in Union Station let me explore this a little bit. Click photo for more.
