It was very frustrating because there was absolutely no light and I was trying to hand hold a 400mm lens at 1/100 of a sec in the freezing cold. Anyway, I gave up on shooting from the side or down below so I went up top to where the racers launch from and tried to get something a little different.

Park City tends to have a lot of randomness. You can find things in weird places that were once lost to the inevitable snow, only to be found by the equally inevitable defrost. I think people here tend to leave these traces to the snow gods in hopes they will return again.
